Kris is an instructional designer with almost 30 years’ experience designing customized learning experiences. She started her professional career as a public-school teacher where she specialized in learning theory, instructional modalities, and curriculum modification for learning disabled children. After earning her M.A. in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), she embarked on the second phase of her career—designing and developing curriculum in the corporate environment.

Kris strives to design and develop quality, effective, and interactive multimedia training with a creative spin. She has experience designing across a variety of delivery platforms including eLearning, facilitator-led instruction, simulations (systems and real-world), performance support solutions, and blended curricula. She has designed both small and large curricula for a variety of government and commercial clients. She is a “content chameleon”—able to immerse herself in the subject matter, regardless of how complex or technical, to present it optimally to the learner. She’s worked with a wide range of content, including military (Army and Navy), government, aerospace, higher education, finance, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare (clinical, coding, and devices).

Kris lives in Florida with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She’s a self-proclaimed geek (Star Trek or Star Wars? She says, “BOTH!”), and loves cruising and traveling with her husband.
